WHO WE ARE

This is the KU Chapter of the national organization Emerging Green Builders. We are students at the University of Kansas dedicated to the development of the green building movement.

2009-2010 Officers

Neil Steiner is a 4th year ARCE student. His motivation towards sustainability drives others to follow his lead. He currently works on campus in the Biodiesel production lab doing research on fuel characteristics and how to make the production process more energy efficient.

Winston Holloway is a 1st
year M.Arch student. He did his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech where he was a co-founder of the USGBC Student Group.  He strives to use architecture as a medium for social and environmental reform.

Justin McGeeney is pursuing a dual Masters degree in the School of Architecture and the School of Business.  This is his first year with EGB and he is looking forward to developing sustainability initiatives as well as establishing communication of sustainable efforts within the campus and community.
